Biomass buyers

The bagasse pellet we are bringing to market are bringing distinctive benefits to power plant operators:

• Diversified, secured supply: By complementing PKS and wood pellets, bagasse pellets are offering a 3rd alternative in biomass fuel. Availability of bagasse is stable and uncorrelated with PKS or wood pellets

• Sustainability and Certification: Unlike wood pellets and PKS, there is no question on the origin of the biomass, and therefore no risk of deforestation. MOBIONU's use of bagasse, an agricultural residue, means that the pellets are a truly sustainable fuel source

• Long-Term Contracts and price stability: The cost of the feedstock is linked to the cost of capital for sugar mill upgrades. In this context it is straight forward to fix the price of long term supply on the same horizon as the Feed in Tariff for biomass electricity.
